The many faces of Parkinson’s disease – Motor and nonmotor symptoms from prodromal to advanced disease stages

(incorporating the 2018 Scientific meeting of the MDS Non‐Motor PD Study Group)

University of Rostock, Germany, on March 16th and 17th, 2018

In this meeting, a panel of reputable international experts will discuss the pathophysiology, diagnosis and therapy of non‐motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease, which are known to affect the majority  of patients in the course of disease and often significantly contribute to disability and impaired quality of life. In a special session, we will also specifically address deep brain stimulation and its effects on non‐Motor symptoms and brain plasticity. In addition, young investigators will present exciting new data from their research on non‐motor symptoms in short DataBlitzes.   

This meeting has been endorsed by the Movement Disorder Society and will also incorporate the 2018 Scientific meeting of the MDS Non‐Motor PD Study Group.

Pre‐meeting registration will open on November 15th, 2017 and will close on March 7th, 2018.

On‐Site registration (opens March 16, 2018 (07:30 a.m. local time) through March 17, 2018 (10:00a.m. local time): 200 €

Rostock is located on the A19 and A20 motorways. Parking facilities are available in several publicunderground parking garages in the Rostock city centre. Please mind the fixed speed cameras are on the following streets: "Am Strande," "Lübecker Straße" and "Hamburger Straße".
