Lectures of Excellence 2019
» The event is going to be held in German.
The 600th birthday of the oldest university in the Baltic Sea Region in 2019 will be an important event beyond national borders. As part of this university jubilee, the CTNR is initiating the lecture series "Lectures of Excellence: Pioneers in Neurosciences".
Under the patronage of Rector Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Schareck, excellent scientists who have made significant discoveries in the field of neuroscience will be invited to give insights into their research. These include, above all, Nobel Prize winners, Leibniz Prize winners or winners of other excellent awards.
The lectures are aimed at a scientific plenum consisting of scientists, physicians and junior scientists working in the field of neuroscience. Through the lectures, interesting personalities and their groundbreaking research will be brought to the audience. By presenting their own experiences, the excellent lecturers will awaken the interest for innovative solutions and alternative ways of thinking.
The lecture will be opened by the Patron. The speaker of the CTNR will introduce the invited excellent scientist. The one hour talk will be about his/her groundbreaking research.
Subsequently, the possibility of a debriefing will be offered to come into a lively exchange with the speaker.
